About BRKZ

BRKZ is a Saudi construction-technology startup whose web platform, mobile apps, and WhatsApp channels connect contractors with building-material suppliers and financing.

The company reports serving 850+ contracting companies, supporting projects including NEOM and King Salman Park, and scaling RFQs to $350 million.

Position overview

The Logistics Officer manages the flow of construction materials from factories and supplier yards to customer sites across Saudi Arabia.

The role oversees daily dispatch, transport-rate negotiation, transporter network growth, accurate documentation, and operational compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and dispatch daily bulk-material, cement, flatbed, and heavy-haul shipments for on-time delivery.
  • Source, qualify, and onboard local transporters to provide resilient coverage across Saudi trade lanes.
  • Negotiate freight and haulage rates, build lane-level rate cards, and reduce freight costs while maintaining reliable service.
  • Oversee delivery notes, weight tickets, and factory loading orders, including FASAH for cement; reconcile delivered quantities with purchase orders and transporter invoices.
  • Work with Operations, Account Managers, Finance, and Supplier teams to resolve field issues and prevent delivery bottlenecks.
  • Use dashboards, route-planning tools, and fleet platforms including BOB, OPS Portal, and Metabase to monitor shipments and driver performance.

Required qualifications

  • 2–5 years in logistics, dispatch, or transport procurement in Saudi Arabia.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business, or equivalent field experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi road transport, vehicle types, weight limits, FASAH loading orders, and site and factory procedures.
  • Proven ability to negotiate transport rates, build rate cards, and reduce freight unit costs.
  • Ability to source and onboard transporters and accurately handle delivery notes, weight tickets, and PO reconciliation.
  • Native Arabic speaker with very good English communication skills.
  • Proficient with Google Sheets and dashboards; able to learn technology portals; holds a valid Saudi driving license and is willing to visit sites and factories.

Preferred qualifications

  • Construction-materials or heavy-haulage experience is preferred.
  • A nationwide network of bulker and flatbed transporters is preferred.
  • GPS fleet tracking, delivery-note-to-invoice reconciliation, or AI document-check experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or B2B marketplace is preferred.

What the company offers

  • The company describes the role as offering early responsibility and independence, with opportunities to influence the business.
  • The company lists stock options, premium health insurance, and an attractive compensation package.
