- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers and partners.
- Negotiate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport companies for different contract & services.
- Manage transportation schedules and optimize routes to reduce cost and lead time.
Customs & Compliance (UAE-Specific)
- Handle UAE customs documentation, clearance procedures, and coordination with freight forwarders.
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws, **Dubai Customs**, **Abu Dhabi Customs**, **Sharjah & UAQ Customs**, **Free Zone Authority** requirements (JAFZA, DAFZA, AD Ports, etc.).
- Manage import/export paperwork, HS codes, certificates of origin, and inspection processes.
- Knowledgeable in SIRA, FANR, MOCCAE
Reporting & Systems
- Use WMS systems for inventory, shipments, and KPIs.
- Prepare cost analysis, shipment reports, and logistics forecasts.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE customs procedures, free zone rules, and import/export laws.
- Experience with logistics systems (WMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
