About This Role
Overview
We are in search of a
Logistics Manager
- who is responsible for overseeing and managing all logistics, import/export, customs clearance, transportation, and supply chain activities.
- Location : Dubai, UAE (JAFZA & Mainland)
- Industry Preferred : Industrial Machinery Manufacturing / Industrial Refrigeration / HVAC
- Reporting Line : Finance Manager / Local Managing Director
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or comparable field.
- Minimum
- 5–7 years
- of professional experience in logistics, freight forwarding, import/export, or supply chain management.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with
- JAFZA operations
- and procedures.
- Strong experience with
- UAE Customs regulations and import/export compliance.
- Experience handling international freight operations including sea freight, air freight, and land transportation.
- Experience in
- industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or project-driven environments
- is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily logistics and supply chain operations for import and export shipments
- Coordinate international and local shipments via sea freight, air freight, and land transportation
- **Full responsibility for JAFZA logistics procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements**
- Handle customs clearance procedures for import and export shipments within UAE Mainland and JAFZA
- Ensure compliance with UAE Customs regulations, JAFZA procedures, and international shipping standards
- Coordinate inland transportation, port handling, and warehouse activities
- Monitor loading, unloading, and delivery schedules for materials and equipment
