CSCEC Middle East is recruiting a Logistics Manager for its construction team on a newly awarded large-scale high-rise tower project in Dubai.
Duties and responsibilities
- Plan site setup and movement of labor, materials, and equipment, including site accommodation and security.
- Develop internal and external logistics routes that separate vehicles, machinery, and people.
- Manage traffic, vehicle control, road cleanliness, and weighbridges.
- Coordinate site accommodation installation and manage site facilities.
- Control and schedule materials deliveries and storage to support the project program.
- Create operational procedures and site inductions and maintain induction records.
- Manage logistics meetings and integrate logistics with the project schedule.
- Oversee subcontractor and supply-chain logistics and evaluate logistics suppliers.
- Ensure equipment and vehicles are safely operated, inspected, and maintained.
- Organize resources and staff to meet deadlines, including extended hours.
- Manage site security, regulatory compliance, and workforce competency.
- Maintain records and asset registers and report key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10 or more years of project-management work experience, including high-rise projects.
