We’re hiring an
Industrial Engineer (Transportation & Logistics)
to improve how transportation and warehousing work—end to end.
This role focuses on turning operational pain points into clear problem statements, measurable baselines, and implemented improvements across routing, capacity, SOPs, and on-the-ground execution.
It’s a high-ownership role for someone who is comfortable spending time on-site, working with frontline teams, and driving adoption—not just producing analysis.
What We're Looking For
- **3–7 years**
- of practical experience in transportation operations, fleet management, or logistics
- Ability to
- analyze end-to-end transportation/warehouse workflows
- , identify bottlenecks, and deliver measurable improvements
- Hands-on capability to
- design and optimize routing, shipment planning, and delivery schedules
- using optimization methods and software
- Proven experience developing
- SOPs and performance standards
- for warehouses, fleets, and delivery teams
- Track record leading
Lean / Six Sigma / Kaizen
- process improvement initiatives that reduced waste and increased productivity
- Ability to perform
- capacity and resource planning
- for fleet, workforce, and storage equipment based on demand and constraints
- Strong
- cost analysis
- for transport and storage, with evidence of reducing cost-per-shipment or unit logistics costs
- Experience with
- warehouse layout, space planning, and pick/pack process optimization
- Ability to define and run
- KPIs and operational reporting
- (e.g., OTD, cycle times, cost per unit, error/damage rates) that drive corrective actions
- Proficiency with
Wms/Tms
and analytics tooling (advanced Excel plus
SQL or BI
)
