Overview
Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, and distribution of materials and equipment.
Analyze logistics systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement logistics plans that align with project objectives.
Monitor logistics performance metrics and generate reports for management evaluation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all logistics activities.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Assist in budget management and resource allocation for logistics operations.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in logistics management within the construction or engineering industry.
Strong understanding of logistics principles and best practices.
Experience
with logistics software and tools for tracking and analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in logistics.
