Responsibilities
- Facilitate the shipping of products, arranging transportation and coordinating deliveries to meet customer demand.
- Receive products and coordinate delivery, preparing loads for shipment.
- Take steps to avoid quality control issues and maintain optimal warehouse capacity.
- Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Oversee inventory of goods and vehicles.
- Continually review freight costs, transportation rates, and raw material prices to minimize costs.
- Streamline shipping and transportation processes.
- Manage heavy equipment, material supply, and manpower supply to site.
- Manage security at stores and sites.
- Manage rental equipment contracts.
- Manage accommodation for staff and laborers.
- Manage raw material contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with a Certificate in Supply Chain.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Very good command of spoken and written English.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Good knowledge of operating heavy equipment.
- Possess leadership skills to lead a group of individuals/teams.
