Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Managed import and export operations, including preparation and verification of shipping documents such as Bill of Entry (BOE), Bill of Lading (BL), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin.
• Coordinated customs clearance activities with Dubai Customs, JAFZA Customs, and other UAE authorities to ensure timely cargo release.
• Handled JAFZA and Mainland operations, including free zone transfers, re-exports, transshipments, and customs duty procedures.
• Planned and executed air, sea, and land freight shipments, including FCL, LCL, and air cargo movements.
• Liaised with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transport companies, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers to ensure efficient logistics operations.
• Monitored shipment progress, resolved delays, and ensured on-time delivery of goods.
• Coordinated warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock movement, inspection, and labeling activities.
• Ensured compliance with UAE customs regulations, including HS Code classification, VAT requirements, and documentation standards.
• Negotiated freight rates with logistics providers and implemented cost-saving strategies.
• Maintained accurate records of logistics operations, customs documentation, and inventory tracking.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Import/Export, or Freight Forwarding within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Customs regulations, JAFZA operations, and UAE import/export procedures.
• Hands-on experience in customs clearance, shipment coordination, and freight forwarding operations.
• Proficiency in Dubai Trade and CALOGI platforms.
• Experience handling documentation such as BOE, BL, HS Codes, VAT compliance, and shipment types including FCL, LCL, air freight, and re-export/transshipment cargo.
• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Profile

• IATA certification or relevant logistics qualification would be an advantage.
• Experience in industries such as trading, manufacturing, distribution, building materials, construction chemicals, or industrial sectors preferred.
