- The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily logistics operations, including shipment tracking, coordination with suppliers and freight forwarders, and ensuring timely documentation and payments.
- The role requires strong organizational skills to ensure smooth and efficient import/export processes.
- ****Key Responsibilities:****
- Monitor and track shipments via carriers and update status regularly.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for shipment movement and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and process forwarder invoices for approval and payment.
- Create purchase orders for local freight forwarders.
- Handle foreign supplier payments in coordination with the finance team.
- Follow up with suppliers for shipping documents and dispatch schedules.
- Arrange courier shipments as required.
- Maintain records and raise tickets for all import shipments.
- Prepare and manage LC (Letter of Credit) documentation.
- ****Requirements:****
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
