Manage and coordinate logistics and operations, including acquisition, warehousing, materials management, and distribution, to meet business requirements.
Logistics and operational leadership
- Ensure major suppliers meet service levels under the supplier management strategy.
- Plan resources and assets and execute supply planning within defined frameworks and interdependent processes.
- Review operations and implement innovation and continuous improvement.
- Communicate strategy and business-plan actions, align the team with organizational goals, and motivate employees.
- Oversee operational delivery and manage a substantial, diverse team, objectives, performance, coaching, and development.
- Recruit, coach, and develop team members and take corrective action as needed.
- Deliver budgets or conduct complex analyses of budget progress.
- Analyze strategic needs, business-unit challenges, financial and operational data, market trends, customer behavior, and competition to recommend solutions.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory codes; identify, report, and resolve noncompliance.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with contract service providers within an established contract plan.

Experience
- More than 6 years of experience in a logistics and operations role.
