Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily last-mile delivery operations, ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and within the agreed service levels.
- Manage and monitor delivery drivers/riders and ensure proper allocation of routes, orders, and delivery areas.
- Track daily delivery performance, including on-time delivery, successful delivery rate, failed deliveries, returns, and customer complaints.
- Monitor drivers’ attendance, productivity, performance, and compliance with operational procedures.
- Ensure delivery routes are optimized to maximize efficiency and minimize delays, unnecessary mileage, and operational costs.
- Follow up on delayed, failed, or problematic deliveries and take immediate corrective action.
- Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, customer service, and operations teams to ensure smooth order flow from dispatch to final delivery.
Requirements
- Experience leading and coordinating daily last-mile delivery operations
- Ability to manage and monitor delivery drivers/riders and allocate routes, orders, and delivery areas
- Ability to track daily delivery performance metrics including on-time delivery, successful delivery rate, failed deliveries, returns, and customer complaints
- Ability to monitor drivers’ attendance, productivity, performance, and compliance with operational procedures
- Ability to ensure delivery routes are optimized to maximize efficiency and minimize delays, unnecessary mileage, and operational costs
- Ability to follow up on delayed, failed, or problematic deliveries and take immediate corrective action
- Ability to coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, customer service, and operations teams
