Role Overview
Our Client is looking for a kind, reliable and experienced live-in Nanny / Helper to join a family in Victory Heights / Dubai Sports City.
This is a full-time role for someone who enjoys working with children, is happy to support the household, and takes pride in keeping a home clean, organised and running smoothly.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with families in the UAE, preferably Western families, and will be confident with childcare, cooking, cleaning, driving and general household support.
This role would suit someone positive, hardworking, trustworthy and proactive, who is looking for a stable long-term position with a family.
Key Responsibilities
*Childcare*
Responsibilities Include
- Helping with the children’s morning and evening routines
- School drop-off and pick-up
- Supporting with homework
- Taking children to after-school activities
- Preparing children’s meals and snacks
- Helping keep school bags, uniforms and children’s belongings organised
- Providing warm, patient and attentive care
- Supporting the family with day-to-day childcare needs
- *Cooking*
- The family would like someone who is comfortable cooking healthy homemade food and willing to learn the family’s preferences.
- Responsibilities include:
- Preparing simple, healthy family meals
- Cooking children’s meals and snacks
- Helping with meal planning
- Supporting with grocery lists and online grocery orders
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- *Cleaning and Household Support*
Responsibilities Include
- General daily cleaning
- Laundry and ironing
- Tidying and organising rooms
- Keeping cupboards, wardrobes and household items in order
- Maintaining a clean and calm home environment
- Shopping and errands where required
- Supporting the family as needed
- *Driving*
- A UAE driving licence and local driving experience are required.
Responsibilities May Include
- School runs
- Driving to activities
- Running errands
- Supporting with local household logistics
Working Schedule
- Full-time, live-in role
- Six days per week
- One day off per week
- Flexible working hours, likely including:
- Morning support from approximately 06:00–12:00
- Break during the day
- Afternoon/evening support until approximately 20:00
- Final hours to be discussed and agreed with the family
Candidate Requirements
- The successful candidate must be:
- Warm, cheerful and kind with children
- Experienced as a nanny/helper in family homes
- Preferably experienced with Western families
- Able to provide strong references that can be contacted directly
- Reliable and hardworking
- Comfortable cooking healthy meals
- Organised and tidy
- Able to take initiative without always being told what to do
- Willing to take direction and adapt to the family’s preferences
- Positive, flexible and supportive
- Dog-friendly
- A confident driver with a valid UAE driving licence
- Familiar with Dubai roads; knowledge of Victory Heights / Dubai Sports City is helpful
Ideal Profile
A trustworthy and experienced nanny/helper who is warm with children, proud of her work and happy to support the family across childcare, cooking, cleaning and household organisation.
Compensation
Expected live-in package: approximately AED 3,700–4,200 per month, depending on experience, driving ability, cooking skills and references.
Package to be agreed directly with the family and may include accommodation, food and/or allowances.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,700.00 - AED4,200.00 per month
