Our Client is looking for a warm, proactive and highly capable live-in Au Pair / Family Assistant to support a busy family in Victory Heights / Dubai Sports City.
This is a full-time, live-in role for someone who genuinely enjoys children, takes pride in their work and is happy to become a trusted, long-term part of the household.
The ideal candidate will be experienced with Western families, confident managing children’s routines, able to cook healthy homemade meals, and comfortable taking ownership of the home without needing constant direction.
This role would suit someone mature, energetic, organised and emotionally warm, with strong English, excellent initiative and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- *Childcare*
- The main focus of the role is providing attentive, loving and proactive care for the children.
- Responsibilities include:
- School drop-off and pick-up
- Supporting homework and school routines
- Taking children to after-school activities
- Helping with morning and evening routines
- Preparing children’s meals and snacks
- Encouraging good manners, independence and positive behaviour
- Planning age-appropriate activities
- Keeping children’s bedrooms, wardrobes, school bags and activity items organised
- *Cooking and Food Planning*
- The family is looking for someone who enjoys cooking and understands food instinctively, not just someone who follows recipes.
- Responsibilities include:
- Preparing healthy homemade family meals
- Planning meals and snacks ahead of time
- Supporting with weekly food planning
- Ordering groceries online
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well-stocked
- Preparing lunchboxes and simple nutritious options for the children
- *Household Organisation*
- The role includes helping maintain a clean, calm and well-organised home.
- Responsibilities include:
- Daily cleaning and tidying
- Laundry and ironing
- Wardrobe and cupboard organisation
- Keeping household items in the right place
- Maintaining systems consistently without being reminded
- Supporting with general errands and household tasks
- Shopping and household restocking as needed
- *Driving and Errands*
- A valid UAE driving licence and confident local driving experience are essential.
Responsibilities Include
- School runs
- Driving to children’s activities
- Grocery pick-ups or errands when needed
- Supporting the family with day-to-day logistics
Working Schedule
- Full-time, live-in role
- Six days per week
- One day off per week
- Flexible working hours, likely including: Morning support from approximately 06:00–12:00 + Break during the day + Afternoon/evening support until approximately 20:00
- Final hours to be agreed with the family
Candidate Requirements
- The successful candidate must be:
- Warm, kind, positive and genuinely fond of children
- Experienced working with Western families
- Able to show proven longevity with previous employers
- Highly organised and naturally tidy
- Confident cooking healthy homemade meals
- Initiative-driven and able to act without being asked
- Flexible and willing to adapt to the family’s way of doing things
- Comfortable taking direction when needed
- Strong in English communication
- Dog-friendly
- A confident driver with a valid UAE driving licence
- Familiar with Victory Heights / Dubai Sports City, or willing to learn the area quickly
- Able to provide direct references from previous families
Ideal Profile
An experienced, mature and professional candidate who takes pride in creating a happy, calm and well-run home.
Compensation
Expected live-in package: approximately AED 4,500+ per month, depending on experience, references and overall fit.
Package to be agreed directly with the family and may include accommodation, food and/or allowances.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
