A leading
Construction Project
is hiring for
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Valid Lifting Supervisor Certification (e.g., LEEA / Third Party Approved)
- Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging practices, and crane safety
- Familiarity with load charts, lifting plans, and risk assessments
- Good understanding of HSE regulations and safe lifting procedures
- Minimum 5 Years in Oil & Gas Industry
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities on site
- Ensure all lifting operations are conducted according to approved lifting plans
- Verify crane certifications, lifting equipment, and operator competency
- Conduct toolbox talks and pre-lift meetings
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and HSE regulations
- Inspect lifting gear and ensure proper usage and maintenance
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site teams
- Stop unsafe lifting activities and implement corrective actions
- Maintain records of lifting operations and inspections
Requirement
- Candidates should be present in Qatar with a valid QID
