LIFTING SUPERVISOR
About This Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lifting Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all lifting operations on site. The ideal candidate will ensure that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all lifting operations (cranes, hoists, rigging activities)
- Ensure compliance with lifting plans and safety procedures
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site engineers
- Conduct pre-lift meetings and risk assessments
- Inspect lifting equipment and ensure proper certification
- Monitor weather conditions and site safety during lifts
- Stop operations if unsafe conditions arise
- Maintain records of lifting activities and reports
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and rigging techniques
- Familiarity with local safety standards
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret lifting plans
