Role overview
Monitor pool areas and protect guests and team members by maintaining vigilance and responding to emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Enforce pool rules, prevent unsafe behavior, and guide safe facility use.
- Inspect safety equipment and maintain cleanliness and order in pool areas.
- Report hazards and incidents under company HSE standards.
- Participate in safety drills and training.
- Communicate professionally with guests and collaborate with the hospitality team.
Qualifications and requirements
- Strong swimming and water safety skills, including the ability to perform rescues and assist people in distress.
- First aid and life-saving skills, including CPR, basic emergency care, and standard rescue procedures.
- Ability to identify hazards, enforce safety rules, and follow HSE protocols.
- Clear communication, calm emergency interaction, customer service, teamwork, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, and maintain fitness suitable for rescues.
- Recognized lifeguard certification and pool or beach lifeguarding experience are highly beneficial.
