Qualifications

  • Essential qualifications and experience
  • Experience in spare parts coordination, sales administration, order processing or a similar customer service role.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, including preparing reports and analysing sales data.
  • Strong written and spoken English, with good organisational and customer communication skills.
  • Desirable qualifications
  • A relevant qualification or apprenticeship in business administration, engineering, supply chain or a related discipline.
  • An HNC, HND or degree in a relevant subject would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial equipment environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue spare parts quotations, respond to customer enquiries and follow up outstanding offers.
  • Process customer orders and coordinate with procurement and project teams to support timely delivery.
  • Monitor order progress, communicate delays to customers and escalate potential delivery issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer, quotation and order records in ERP and CRM systems.
  • Produce sales reports, track key performance indicators and analyse sales trends.
  • Liaise with finance on invoicing and outstanding customer payments.
  • Maintain spare parts lists, historical records and departmental procedures.
  • Provide administrative and project support, contributing to improvements in the spare parts sales process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An HNC, HND or degree in a relevant subject would be advantageous but is not essential.
