Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Legal Expert to provide guidance on legal matters related to microtasking and freelance platforms.

This role involves reviewing platform policies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and advising on dispute resolution mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for compliance with applicable laws.
  • Advise on legal risks associated with microtasking operations, including data privacy and labor regulations.
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to cross-border transactions and intellectual property disputes.
  • Provide legal support in handling user disputes and platform-related legal inquiries.
  • Stay updated on evolving laws and regulations affecting gig-economy platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in contract review and drafting with a focus on digital platforms.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws such as GDPR or CCPA.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in legal contexts.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
