Position Summary
Positive Zero is seeking an experienced, hands-on Legal Counsel for business-facing support across commercial, project, and corporate matters.
The role partners with stakeholders, takes ownership of legal matters, and supports the company’s growth in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate EPC, O&M, supply, services, NDA, and partnership agreements.
- Support project development, transactions, and financing documentation.
- Advise on corporate structuring and governance.
- Manage external counsel when required.
- Provide day-to-day legal guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of post-qualification experience and proven UAE legal experience are required.
- Must be a Commonwealth-qualified lawyer: UK, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada.
- Training and/or post-qualification experience with a leading international law firm is required.
- Strong background in commercial contracting and corporate law is required.
- Energy, infrastructure, industrial, or construction sector experience is highly advantageous.
- Must be comfortable working autonomously within a lean team and take a commercial, pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.
