to join a company operating in the field of legal consulting.
The role involves providing legal advice in areas related to companies, business operations, contracts, investment, labor matters, commercial disputes, governance, compliance, and relevant laws and regulations.
This position focuses on candidates who have practical legal experience inside Saudi Arabia for no less than
5 years
, with clear skills in legal analysis, regulatory research, legal drafting, contract review, negotiation, and professional communication with clients and relevant stakeholders.
The role requires a Legal Consultant who can understand facts, analyze legal issues, and provide clear and practical legal solutions, while understanding the needs of companies, business owners, and investors.
Role Overview
The Legal Consultant will be responsible for providing legal advice across several areas related to companies, including Saudi Companies Law, Saudi Labor Law, Foreign Investment Law and its regulations, commercial contracts, construction contracts, investment contracts, governance, compliance, commercial disputes, and matters before courts and quasi-judicial committees.
The Legal Consultant will also be responsible for preparing, drafting, and reviewing legal documents, including legal memoranda, reply memoranda, pleadings, contracts, legal opinions, official letters, and legal meeting minutes, while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and good legal drafting quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to companies and clients on regulatory, commercial, contractual, investment, and labor-related matters.
- Study and analyze legal matters related to companies and prepare appropriate legal opinions based on the laws and regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
- Provide legal advice on Saudi Companies Law, including incorporation, amendments, governance, partners’ and shareholders’ resolutions, relationships between partners, restructuring, management authorities, and related regulatory matters.
- Provide legal advice on Saudi Labor Law, including employment contracts, internal work regulations, employment relationships, labor violations, termination of employment, labor disputes, and the rights and obligations of employers and employees.
- Provide legal advice on Foreign Investment Law and its regulations, including matters related to foreign investors, licensing, obligations, regulatory requirements, legal structures, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare, draft, and review legal memoranda, reply memoranda, pleadings, legal opinions, legal reports, and official correspondence.
- Draft and review contracts and agreements between companies, including service agreements, partnership agreements, shareholders’ agreements, memoranda of understanding, management agreements, supply agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Draft and review construction contracts, investment contracts, operation agreements, service agreements, franchise agreements, and contracts related to corporate business activities.
- Study and analyze commercial, labor, and investment disputes and provide appropriate legal recommendations.
- Handle files related to commercial courts, quasi-judicial committees, and competent authorities, and prepare the required documents, memoranda, and responses.
- Prepare legal research, regulatory studies, and follow updates to relevant laws and regulations, while assessing their impact on clients and companies.
- Analyze legal risks in contracts, transactions, and commercial decisions, and provide practical solutions to reduce risk and protect interests.
- Participate in legal and negotiation meetings with clients or external parties and provide legal support during negotiations and settlements.
- Negotiate contracts, settlements, and disputed legal points to achieve proper legal and commercial protection for clients and the company.
- Review legal, commercial, and investment documents to ensure regulatory soundness, accuracy, clarity, and enforceability.
- Prepare and review official letters and legal correspondence with clients, government authorities, counterparties, and external consultants.
- Organize and manage legal files, maintain documents, and follow up on deadlines, obligations, and important dates related to legal matters.
- Coordinate with lawyers, consultants, government authorities, experts, and specialists when required.
- Prepare periodic legal reports on file status, risks, recommendations, and upcoming requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling client information, legal files, and legal documents.
Mandatory Requirements
- Practical legal experience inside Saudi Arabia for no less than

- Master’s degree or PhD in Law or a related legal field.
- Practical experience in Saudi Companies Law, Saudi Labor Law, and Foreign Investment Law and its regulations.
- Experience in commercial courts, commercial disputes, and quasi-judicial committees.
- Experience in drafting legal memoranda, reply memoranda, pleadings, and legal opinions.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts between companies.
- Experience in construction contracts and investment contracts.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, spoken and written.
- Good legal and professional writing skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to prepare official letters, correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to use legal research tools, electronic platforms, and relevant government systems.
- Negotiation, persuasion, discussion management, and legal argument presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze legal issues, apply legal reasoning, solve problems, and make decisions based on laws and facts.
- Ability to deal professionally with clients, business owners, and executive management.
- Ability to manage multiple legal files at the same time while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality output.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive or complex legal matters.

All submitted samples must be redacted to remove any confidential information or private data related to clients or other parties.
The purpose of requesting work samples is to assess legal drafting quality, analytical ability, structure of ideas, language accuracy, and legal reasoning.
Suitable Candidate Profile
We are looking for a Legal Consultant with practical experience inside Saudi Arabia who can provide clear and practical legal advice to companies and clients.
The candidate should be able to review and analyze facts, prepare legal opinions, draft legal documents, review contracts, negotiate, and communicate professionally with clients and executive management.
It is also preferred that the candidate has an understanding of the commercial aspects of legal decisions and can provide legal advice that considers the law, risks, and client interests.
