Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Legal Specialist to work on a contractor basis.

You will apply your expertise in corporate law, litigation, and regulatory compliance to help train advanced AI systems by providing real-world legal input.

Your work will directly shape how these systems learn, reason, and perform across industries such as finance, healthcare, and engineering.

This role offers a rare chance to contribute to cutting-edge AI development without requiring prior AI experience—your legal domain knowledge is the critical asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed contract review, drafting, and negotiation to optimize business outcomes while managing legal and financial risks.
  • Analyze legal cases and conduct in-depth research to deliver actionable insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Support litigation and dispute resolution by preparing and reviewing legal documentation and assisting internal and external counsel.
  • Assess regulatory compliance and conduct due diligence for corporate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Design system prompts and evaluation rubrics to enhance the accuracy and reliability of AI models in legal reasoning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate law, contract negotiation, or regulatory compliance with a focus on real-world case analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in legal research, risk assessment, and dispute resolution within a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality, ethics, and professional standards in legal practice and data handling.
  • Ability to interpret complex legal principles and translate them into structured prompts and evaluation criteria for AI systems.
  • Experience with due diligence processes, particularly in contexts involving mergers, acquisitions, or high-risk transactions.
  • Familiarity with legal documentation preparation and litigation support workflows.
