Role overview
The Legal Associate supports the client's legal team across international legal matters, compliance, and protection of the client's interests.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to Legal Counsel and the legal team.
- Prepare, review, format, and organize legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and filings.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of contracts, agreements, licenses, and legal documents, with version control.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Finance, HR, and Operations to gather information and support legal processes.
- Liaise with external law firms, regulators, and government authorities when required.
- Track deadlines, renewals, and legal milestones and follow up promptly.
- Support corporate governance with board materials, resolutions, and meeting documentation.
- Assist with basic legal research and document summaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar support role.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Familiarity with contracts, corporate documentation, and legal filings.
- Strong written and verbal English; Arabic is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; document management system experience is a plus.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
