Legal Advisor - Real Estate
About This Role
We are Looking for a Legal Advisor specializing in the real estate sector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal guidance, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and supporting all real estate transactions and corporate legal matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on all real estate transactions including sales, purchases, leasing, and property development agreements .
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including SPAs, MOUs, tenancy contracts, and development agreements .
- Ensure full compliance with UAE real estate laws and regulations , including authorities such as DLD and RERA .
- Identify legal risks and provide practical solutions to mitigate exposure.
- Support dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration cases when required.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, government entities, and regulatory authorities.
- Review and structure legal frameworks for joint ventures and real estate investments.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update internal policies accordingly.
- Provide legal guidance and training to internal departments when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Law (LLB) – Master degree or specialization in Real Estate Law is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Legal Advisor, preferably within real estate or property development companies.
- Strong knowledge of UAE real estate laws and regulatory frameworks .
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
