Legal Advisor
We are a leading Real Estate & Construction company looking for a highly skilled and experienced Legal Advisor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the legal landscape in the construction industry and the ability to navigate complex transactions in both Arabic and English.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including construction contracts (FIDIC), joint ventures, sales and purchase agreements (SPA), and lease agreements.
Legal Counsel: Provide expert legal advice to management on real estate laws, labor laws, and corporate governance.
Litigation & Disputes: Manage and oversee legal disputes, arbitration, and coordination with external law firms when necessary.
Compliance: Ensure all company operations and projects comply with local regulations and licensing requirements.
Translation: Accurately translate legal documents and represent the company in meetings requiring high-level bilingual communication.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, specifically within the Real Estate or Construction sectors.
Language: Native-level fluency in Arabic and professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university; a Master’s degree or professional legal certification is a plus.
Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with local property laws, construction regulations, and contract law.
Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
