Lead Warehouse - Chennai

Responsibilities

• Govern 3PL warehouse operations to meet service levels, company policies, operational standards, and contractual commitments.
• Manage KPIs covering inventory accuracy, cost, quality, safety, and service.
• Conduct 3PL performance reviews and oversee SLAs, pricing agreements, and contract lifecycle activities.
• Oversee warehouse financials, invoice validation, budgets, spend analysis, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Use SAP, WMS, EDI, and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and visibility.
• Lead productivity, process standardization, operational excellence, and supply chain optimization initiatives.
• Maintain SHEQ standards, support audits, conduct risk assessments, and implement RCA/CAPA actions.
• Work across functions and use analytics for strategic decisions, network optimization, space utilization, and new facility onboarding.

Candidate qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, warehouse footprint optimization, and supply chain processes.
• Experience managing 3PL providers, negotiating contracts, monitoring SLAs and KPIs, and driving service excellence.
• Strong knowledge of SAP WM/EWM, WMS, EDI, warehouse automation technologies, Advanced Excel, and Power BI.
• Ability to analyze performance, identify savings, implement improvements, and drive operational excellence.
• Knowledge of SHEQ standards, audits, compliance, RCA/CAPA, and risk mitigation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, influencing, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
