Lead, Transformation Testing

Role purpose

Testing strategy and delivery

• Define the testing strategy for the SAP transformation and design a robust automated testing framework.
• Set automation scope based on risk and frequency, and lead the transition from manual to automated testing.
• Plan unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing; schedule activities and manage testing resources, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee detailed test cases and scripts, ensuring coverage of functional and non-functional requirements and updates for system changes.
• Lead, train, and mentor testing team members; promote continuous improvement and automation skills.
• Engage business and technology leads, stakeholders, and end users for feedback and business validation.
• Manage test execution against timelines and standards, resolve bottlenecks, and coordinate testing of integrations and dependencies.
• Track and prioritize defects; work with development teams on timely resolution and retesting.
• Run performance and load testing, analyze results, and recommend system optimizations.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor their effectiveness.
• Report progress, results, issues, automation coverage, defect metrics, and quality measures; maintain testing documentation.
• Oversee post-implementation testing and provide support during go-live stabilization.

Experience and qualifications

• Mandatory experience with SAP and enterprise systems in design, deployment, testing, and support.
• 8–10 years of experience in SAP technology implementation and management.
• Proven technical lead or comparable experience in large-scale transformation programs.
• Experience managing large hybrid teams of internal and external resources and vendors against budgets, targets, and scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong SAP business-process understanding, leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder skills.
• PMP, ITIL, or SAP certifications are a plus.
