What you'll be doing Support the data engineering team by writing ingestion scripts, executing automated data tests, monitoring pipeline schedules, and maintaining BI reports on the Group's cloud data platform.

• Assist senior data engineers in writing SQL and Python ingestion and transformation scripts. • Execute automated data tests to support data quality. • Monitor pipeline job schedules in Apache Airflow and escalate failures and delays. • Maintain Looker reports and dashboards. • Support data transformation tasks using dbt on Google BigQuery. • Help investigate and resolve basic data ingestion issues under guidance. • Collaborate with the data engineering team, learning and applying data engineering best practices.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data engineering or a related technical area. • Working proficiency in SQL and Python. • Exposure to Google BigQuery, Apache Airflow, and dbt. • Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker. • Foundational understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and data quality concepts.
