Lead, Technical Program Management, Fiber and Network Infrastructure

Overview

• Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
• Experience in both fiber optic network design/deployment (OSP) and data center infrastructure (ISP).

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 years of multi-disciplinary experience in network, fiber, electrical, and mechanical (cooling) systems.
• Experience working with global carriers and stakeholders in the EMEA and APAC telecommunications and data center markets.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to navigate through ambiguity and build consensus among high-level executive stakeholders.
• Proven track record in New Product Initiatives (NPI), specifically in defining standards for deployable infrastructure solutions.

About The Job

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate program strategy across East EU and MENA to drive consistency and economies of scale. Be able to strengthen alignment between technical requirements and business objectives by providing advanced insights facilitating executive decision-making.
• Define requirements for the Google Global Network, designing data center infrastructure (space, power, cooling) and define new product deployment globally.
• Manage complex relationships globally. Influence and collaborate with design engineering firms, carriers, internal engineering teams, and senior executives to solve large-scale network growth challenges.
• Establish systems to identify and implement innovative solutions that optimize project delivery. Manage risks and drive improvements in lead-time, predictability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead a global team of technical program managers. Foster growth mindset and culture of learning, ensuring the team's skills are transferable across technical domains.
