Lead Structural Engineer - T&D

Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and designers on M&R, compressor station, and RNG plant EPC projects.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to less experienced team members.
• Support structural design from conceptual through detailed design phases.
• Analyze and design steel structures and foundations for T&D pipeline projects.
• Prepare specifications, details, and calculations for pipe racks, supports, technical structures, and foundations.
• Review vendor drawings and coordinate with suppliers, clients, stakeholders, and other disciplines.
• Perform production drawing and project data quality reviews and ensure QA/QC adherence.
• Develop and improve processes, tools, and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• At least 12 years of experience; a related master's degree may substitute for one year.
• Advanced knowledge of AISC, ACI, IBC, PIP, and other industrial standards and codes.
• Strong computer skills with RISA, STAAD, AutoCAD, and Mathcad or similar tools.
• Ability to perform quality reviews and make formal or informal presentations.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, collaboration, facilitation, team-building, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures.
• US project experience is strongly preferred.
• Civil design experience with grading, stormwater, or drainage is beneficial but not required.
