Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Develops, analyzes, and reviews complex structural designs and calculations for buildings, foundations, and, where applicable, industrial structures.
- Team Management:
- Guides and mentors junior engineers and BIM/CAD technicians, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project schedules.
- Coordination:
- Interfaces with architects, MEP engineers, and clients to ensure a clash-free design and to resolve technical issues during construction.
- Compliance:
- Ensures all designs meet local regulations, safety standards, and international codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, BS).
- Documentation:
- Prepares and approves design reports, material specifications, and structural drawings.
- Site Support:
- Provides technical support for site supervision, ensuring construction adheres to the designed intent.
