Required Experience and Knowledge
- At least 7 years of front-end engineering, including at least 3 years of React Native development and proven technical delivery leadership.
- Banking, financial services, digital channels, internet banking, mobile banking, or fintech experience is mandatory.
- Experience delivering customer-facing applications with high availability, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of API-driven architecture, microservices, secure authentication, enterprise integration, Agile, DevOps, and cross-functional delivery.
- Understanding of mobile security, certificate pinning, OWASP Mobile Top 10, and secure SDLC.
- Experience leading frontend teams, setting standards, and driving architecture and design decisions.
Required Skills
- React Native, React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Redux, Context API, React Hooks, and responsive web design.
- REST and GraphQL API integration, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT authentication.
- iOS and Android lifecycle management, state management, reusable components, performance tuning, and application optimization.
- Git, CI/CD, Agile, DevSecOps, code reviews, debugging, automated testing, secure coding, and technical problem-solving.
- Ability to mentor developers, manage technical priorities, and uphold engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead secure, scalable, high-performance React Native mobile banking application design, development, and maintenance.
- Lead frontend development for customer-facing digital banking journeys using React.js.
- Define frontend architecture, coding standards, reusable components, and development practices.
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, architects, security teams, and backend developers.
- Oversee API, microservice, OAuth/OIDC, and enterprise middleware integrations.
- Ensure banking security, regulatory, secure coding, and accessibility compliance.
- Optimize performance, scalability, responsiveness, and user experience across mobile and web.
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, testing, and production issue resolution.
- Support CI/CD automation, DevSecOps, and build, test, and deployment improvements.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Coordinate technical risks, timelines, and dependencies with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering mobile and web applications for retail or corporate banking.
- Knowledge of mobile application security testing, penetration testing, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with enterprise-scale digital transformation and omnichannel banking platforms.
