Presales and client engagement
- Lead technical/domain conversations in prospect meetings, pilot kickoffs, and proof-of-value engagements.
- Represent the company in client workshops and business reviews, presenting findings to customers and leadership.
- Partner with Sales and Solutions Architecture to scope pilot assets and define baseline measurement points.
- Build vertical-specific use cases, ROI calculators, and reference case studies for sales and marketing.
- Translate regulatory drivers such as BRSR, EU CBAM, India's PAT scheme, ISO 50001, and Gulf vision programmes into commercial conversations.
Product and delivery support
- Work with the ML/AI team to ground anomaly thresholds and energy-normalisation logic in real engineering behavior.
- Sanity-check energy-related business-unit proposals and offerings.
- Guide and prepare energy customer offerings and services and help build organizational skills.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Industrial Engineering.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in industrial energy audits, energy management, or utility-side efficiency programmes.
- Working knowledge of compressed-air systems, HVAC, motor efficiency, demand-side management, and electricity tariff structures.
- Experience presenting technical findings to leadership and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience across multiple energy and utilities industries.
Preferred qualifications
- Certified Energy Auditor (BEE, India) or Certified Energy Manager (AEE) is desirable.
- Familiarity with ISO 50001, multi-asset IoT/SCADA/BESS/BMS or energy-tech vendors, Gulf utility programmes, and ESG/carbon reporting frameworks is desirable.
- Relevant standards include IEC 61850/61970/61968, IEEE 1547, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and CEA/CERC/MNRE regulations.
