Progeco Group is seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer for its Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sectors.
The role coordinates and technically supervises multidisciplinary engineering activities, ensuring deliverables meet company, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
The position oversees verification, review, and validation of engineering documentation with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities throughout project phases and define procedures, methodologies, and checklists for technical review.
- Identify technical specialists and ensure application of design bases, specifications, international codes, and standards.
- Manage documentation approval for completeness, accuracy, and traceability; coordinate comments, reviews, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
- Support technical risk mitigation, manage escalations, and guide resolution of project-critical issues.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality and client requirements and maintain verification and approval audit records.
Requirements
- Engineering degree; Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Energy Engineering is preferred, or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of engineering coordination experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial Projects.
- Experience in technical assurance, design review, engineering verification, and technical document control.
- In-depth knowledge of API, ASME, DNV, and ISO standards and regulations.
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and managing complex technical interfaces.
- Familiarity with audit, verification, quality assurance, and compliance engineering processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills; good written and spoken English.
Working hours
- Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
