Lead Mechanical Design Engineer working on HVAC, piping, fire-fighting, and temporary building mechanical systems.
Experience and education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in permanent building design and at least 5 years in temporary building design.
- Thorough experience with HVAC, piping, and fire-fighting systems across diverse building types.
Required technical expertise
- HVAC load calculations, ESP calculations, and pump head calculations.
- Hydraulic calculations for fire-fighting systems.
- Chilled water network design and balancing.
- Pipe sizing, duct sizing, and equipment selection.
- Temporary building mechanical system design.
- BIM/Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.
- Knowledge of UAE authority submission procedures.
Pay
- AED 15,000–22,000 per month.
Work location
- Work location is in person.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems for temporary buildings.
- Perform HVAC load, ESP, and pump head calculations.
- Perform hydraulic calculations for fire-fighting systems.
- Design and balance chilled water networks.
- Size pipes and ducts and select equipment for building systems.
