Lead Engineer - Fleet Management

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer technical issues and liaise between field and design engineering to drive corrective actions.
• Maintain customer relationships and address technical requirements promptly.
• Lead and coordinate root cause investigations with Product Service, System, and Design Engineering teams.
• Prepare technical presentations for company leaders and customers.
• Visit customer locations for technical reviews, outage support, and technical support for sales and service proposals.
• Oversee engineering activities for contractual and field service teams during planned outages.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering and suppliers on implementation of fleet-program technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Control and Instrumentation, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of relevant operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience, including turbine and compressor control systems and EMCC-driven train motor issues.
• Knowledge of Mark VI, Mark VIe, Mark VIeS, compressor controls, VFDs, motors, and motor protection.
• Available for short-notice travel 20–25% of the time and weekend emergency support.
• Fluent English required; Arabic preferred.

Workplace and schedule

• The role involves customer-site work at locations across the world and travel to customer locations.
• Flexible hours may be available; customer-site hours may follow customer working patterns.
