Lead ELV Commissioning Engineer - KSA

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily ELV and ICT commissioning activities according to approved plans, schedules, and client requirements.
• Develop, review, and approve commissioning plans, method statements, test records, test scripts, interface matrices, and IST scenarios.
• Lead FAT, SAT, pre-functional checks, start-up, configuration validation, functional testing, and IST.
• Commission structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, network interfaces, access control, CCTV/VMS, life-safety interfaces, and BMS/EPMS/DCIM integrations.
• Execute normal, abnormal, and failure scenarios covering network, power, communications, failover, alarm routing, and system recovery.
• Validate cross-system cause-and-effect, dependencies, resilience, and end-to-end interfaces.
• Coordinate fire alarm and aspirating smoke detection interfaces with shutdowns, access control, suppression, and life-safety functions.
• Manage integration with BMS, EPMS, DCIM, leak detection, environmental monitoring, and vendor systems.
• Verify BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, and vendor gateway protocols.
• Coordinate with IT and network teams on IP plans, VLANs, switch ports, firewall rules, routing, DNS, and time synchronization.
• Manage logs, issue registers, punch lists, deficiencies, retesting, evidence, and technical close-out.
• Coordinate stakeholders, chair commissioning meetings, and mentor commissioning staff.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, telecommunications, ICT, computer or network engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Have at least 12 years of ELV/ICT construction, testing, integration, and commissioning experience.
• Have at least five years of mission-critical or data centre commissioning experience.
• Have prior Senior or Lead ELV Commissioning Engineer, ICT/ELV Commissioning Lead, Systems Integration Lead, or equivalent experience.
• Have delivered large colocation or hyperscale data centres with complex integration dependencies.
• Demonstrate experience from L1/L2 readiness through L3 start-up, L4 Functional Performance Testing, and L5 or IST.
• Have strong knowledge of ELV/ICT systems, networks, security, life safety, controls integration, redundancy, and resilience.
• Have strong technical leadership, troubleshooting, planning, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
• RCDD, DCDC, CEng/PE, CCP, CCNA/CCNP, or manufacturer certifications are advantageous.

Project Environment

• The work supports mission-critical data centre projects and involves physical commissioning of installed systems and interfaces.
