Job description
- Own and extend infrastructure and tools that enable analysts to work securely.
- Support analytical tools including JupyterLab, RStudio and VS Code, GitHub integration, and cloud-based workflow orchestration.
- Contribute to a platform with tooling and data-platform components, including pipelines, storage and ingestion processes.
- Work collaboratively in a small team and support rapid iteration based on user feedback.
Team context
- The project is led by the Head of Platforms and Engineering, with expertise across data engineering, DevOps and software development.
- The central Data Science and Engineering team sits within the department's Analysis function and develops capability around analysts' needs.

Salary and contract
- Salary range is £58,275–£71,040, with separate national and London ranges and a possible Government Digital and Data Framework allowance of up to £10,000.
