Lead Data and Analytics Developer – Customer Analytics

Schedule and location

• The role is hybrid, with three days on location in Columbus, Ohio.

Compensation

• Salary is $113,500–$170,300 per year, plus a 10% annual bonus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a customer analytics and business intelligence subject matter expert and encourage self-service analytics adoption.
• Develop data models, datasets, reports, dashboards, and integrated analytics solutions that meet business needs and follow data governance and BI standards.
• Consult on data lake design to improve data quality, accessibility, and reusability.
• Set and monitor standards for BI products and partner with IT on user-facing technology stability, performance, and upgrades.
• Understand customer processes, enterprise platforms, and data relationships to extract and report correct data.
• Develop interactive dashboard strategies and encourage stakeholder adoption.
• Manage deliverables, timelines, and milestones; provide technical design guidance and mentor team members.
• Apply data quality monitoring and data science methods to improve insights, including predictive and prescriptive solutions.
• Partner with business teams to identify opportunities, develop strategies, advance analytics maturity, and mentor staff.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in data engineering, business intelligence, visualization/dashboard/reporting, or data science.
• 5+ years with data acquisition methods and tools, including Tableau Prep, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• 5+ years with visualization or analysis software, including Tableau, Excel, Cognos Analytics, and Power BI.
• 5+ years coding to shape and extract data; expertise in at least one language and working knowledge of others, such as Python and SQL.
