Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning for PSA, RTU, DCS, FGS, ESD, control and automation systems, including vendor document review, logic checks, and cause-and-effect checks.
• Provide technical advice during prequalification and tender evaluation to support technical selection of contractors and suppliers.
• Advise on construction, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, planning, scheduling, completion, and reporting.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables and activities with procurement and construction teams.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and supervise commissioning for HVDC systems, converter stations, offshore and onshore platforms, piping, pipelines, mechanical and auxiliary systems, and control and protection systems.
• Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are safely tested, commissioned, started up, and handed over in accordance with specifications, standards, procedures, and operational requirements.
• Support mechanical completion, operational readiness, safe startup, and reliable long-term operation of offshore facilities.
• Develop mechanical commissioning execution plans, procedures, schedules, and systemization strategies.
• Review mechanical engineering deliverables, vendor manuals, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and operating philosophies.
• Define system and subsystem boundaries for mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup.

Experience and requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years of significant offshore project experience.
• Dedicated commissioning and startup experience.
• Experience commissioning offshore platforms, wellhead towers, jackets and topsides, pipelines, and brownfield offshore facilities.
• PMC/EPC background preferred.
• Previous ADNOC Offshore experience is advantageous.
