Position details

Qualifications and experience

• Qualified auditor for HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000; BRCGS, QMS, EMS, and H&SMS qualifications are preferred.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in food science, food technology, microbiology, biotechnology, or a related food science discipline.
• Training required in ISO 22000:2018, FSSC 22000 V6/V7, HACCP with at least 16 hours of training, and client handling and customer service.
• BRCGS Food V9 and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 training are preferred.
• At least five years of experience in food industry, food safety management, quality assurance, food production, or auditing.
• Experience conducting supplier and/or certification audits and practical knowledge of HACCP and food safety management system implementation.

Technical knowledge

• Knowledge of ISO standards, ISO 17021, ISO 22003:2022, GAC, and accreditation requirements.
• Knowledge of Outlook, Office 365, Word, Excel, and planning or scheduling software.
• English fluency is required; Arabic knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, lead, and report third-party and second-party food safety audits and certification audit activities.
• Complete audit reports and submit them for review and certification decisions.
• Coordinate client communications, manage expectations, provide audit updates, and handle technical queries and non-conformity reporting.
• Maintain impartiality, confidentiality, integrity, and independence; follow accreditation and client requirements.
• Manage audit plans and schedules and comply with field, travel, organizational, and client-site HSE requirements.
• Complete professional training and competence development; support additional certification, compliance, and operational projects.
• Performance measures include audit completion, HSE adherence, report completeness, and defects.
