Lead architectural design coordination and site supervision for large-scale building projects.
Maintain architectural intent during construction and coordinate multidisciplinary work, contractor submissions and site execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead design reviews and technical coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supervise architectural site works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements and mock-ups.
- Inspect sites, prepare observation reports and coordinate technical resolutions with project stakeholders and authorities.
- Monitor progress and schedules; ensure compliance with UAE codes, authority regulations and health and safety requirements.
- Lead architectural QA/QC, snagging, de-snagging and handover; mentor junior architects and site staff.
- Support design changes, value engineering and construction-phase problem solving.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 15 years of architecture experience, including significant construction supervision, PMC or consultancy project experience.
- Experience with large-scale projects in mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, residential, aviation, healthcare or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, materials, construction methods and UAE regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with international engineering consultancies, Abu Dhabi projects and DMT, ADM or UAE authority requirements.
- Site supervision experience on projects valued above USD 100 million, plus multidisciplinary team leadership and contractor performance management.
- Professional registration or accreditation is preferred.
