About the Role

  • As the Lead Ancillary Sales Officer, you be responsible for supporting the Ancillary Services team in product development planning and project implementation across all QR sales channels.
  • In addition, you are responsible of carrying out ancillary products day-to-day operations and enhancements to current sales channels capabilities to generate incremental revenue to support commercial ancillary targets.
  • *As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:*
  • Apply good understanding of airline commercial principles and analyze ancillary performance by product and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Apply good understanding of principles and concepts of Qatar Airway's ancillary services process and procedures.
  • Lead and manage 3rd party opportunities and relationships.
  • Evaluate and analyze new ancillary products/initiatives.
  • Recommend technologies that meet Qatar Airways Ancillary Strategy. Recommendations include providing analysis, support and strategic insights.
  • Support in delivering the ancillary products project implementation, roadmap (all connection options), monitoring against internal and external SLAs, as and where required.
  • Provide proactive and constructive input to ancillary projects to maximize revenue and align with Ancillary partners to translate this to ancillary strategy and implementation.
  • Work directly with project managers, commercial marketing team, and digital marketing team to successfully implement key ancillary marketing campaigns.
  • Perform other department duties related to this position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About You

  • A successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications:
  • Bachelors or equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience in ancillary products, revenue analysis and business development
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills in MS Office application
  • Proficiency in project management and excellent skills
  • A proven ability to work and negotiate within a multi-national and multi-cultural environment
  • Prior experience in managing fare products and incentive tools with trade partners
