Position summary

The Lead Analyst, Business Transformation leads the day-to-day delivery of adoption consulting work for initiative owners across US Renewables & Power, supporting the adoption and long-term sustainment of cross-functional initiatives. Working under the direction of the Director, Business Transformation, this role sets the practical direction for how adoption work gets executed and serves as the senior hands-on expert on the team.

The role engages with leadership across Commercial, Development, Execution, Finance, Operations, and Digital, and partners closely with HR, the HRBPs, and the US R&P CM team to align Business Transformation work with their change management efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Adoption consulting delivery: Lead the execution of the Business Transformation (“BT”) Adoption approach across US R&P, guiding how the team applies communications, training, knowledge, document, and orchestration consulting to support initiative owners.
  • Methodology and frameworks: Apply, refine, and help evolve the methodology, toolkits, playbooks, and standards that initiative owners use to design and execute adoption plans.
  • Long-term ownership framework: Help define and operationalize the model for identifying long-term owners of adoption tracking, sustainment measurement, and maintenance, so adoption doesn't stop when projects close.
  • Leadership engagement: Engage with leadership to identify upcoming initiatives, align on the BT Adoption approach, and report on how the team is supporting business outcomes.
  • HR and CM partnership: Work with HR, the HRBPs, and the US R&P CM team to align BT Adoption's work with their change management efforts.
  • Cross-functional BT coordination: Coordinate with BT S2G, BT Training, and BT Knowledge and Documentation teams to help ensure the four teams deliver a coherent transformation model end-to-end.
  • Reporting: Synthesize adoption insights and outcomes for leadership and help represent BT Adoption in BT and US R&P forums.
  • Team guidance: Mentor and guide fellow analysts on adoption tactical execution work, setting the standard for quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Information Science, Communications, or equivalent study/work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business transformation, change management, program management, or a related discipline, with demonstrated growth in scope and responsibility.
  • Experience contributing to and helping shape methodologies, frameworks, toolkits, or playbooks for cross-functional work.
  • Experience serving as a lead or senior resource on projects, coordinating the work of others and mentoring less-experienced analysts (formal direct-report management not required).
  • Ability to engage, advise, and influence senior stakeholders, with experience presenting on approach, progress, and risk.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work across business functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort facilitating cross-functional conversations, including at the leadership level.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops, stakeholder sessions, and planning efforts.
  • Familiarity with adoption measurement.
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PMP, CKM, or related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of the energy industry and renewable generation technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, and SharePoint.
