Imagine Early Learning Centers seeks a Head Teacher FOR OUR DOE 3K Classroom at Imagine Early Learning Centers. Our center is a safe, nurturing, fun, and friendly environment. Responsibilities include:
Participating in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Effective communication with families and co-teachers.
Ability to adhere to licensing and NAEYC guidelines.
Effective written communication skills.
Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- BA in Early Childhood or Special Education or related field, or in progress, a plus
- 1-2 years experience teaching ages 2-5 years old in an Early Childhood program required
- Previous experience with NAEYC standards and the accreditation process preferred
- Clearance for work in DOH child care programs and DOE PKA classrooms a plus.
