Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations.
- Manage receiving, sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distribution of linen and uniforms.
- Ensure laundry items meet hotel quality standards and clean and soiled linen are handled and stored properly.
- Monitor linen and uniform inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Allocate duties to team members and monitor performance, attendance, and productivity.
- Ensure safe operation of laundry equipment and promptly report maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the laundry area.
- Coordinate linen and uniform requirements with Housekeeping and other departments.
- Monitor laundry supplies and assist with stock control.
- Train and guide team members on laundry procedures and safety standards.
- Prepare daily reports and communicate operational issues to management.
- Use water, chemicals, equipment, and other laundry resources efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Laundry Supervisor in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of laundry operations, linen, uniforms, and laundry equipment.
- Strong team supervision and organizational skills; good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and hygiene standards.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
Pay
- The description states AED 0.10 per month.
