Toll Landscape seeks a Landscape Accounting Team Lead for operations in Colmar, Pennsylvania.
The role requires independent work, deadline management, and interaction with personnel at all levels.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close cycles, including balance sheet and profit-and-loss account analysis and reconciliations.
- Review quarterly and annual reports.
- Create and post journal entries.
- Review weekly accounts payable batches for proper coding and approvals.
- Provide explanations of budget-to-actual variances and assist with budget variance analysis.
- Assist with external auditor requests.
- Support ad hoc projects and manage additional team members as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles and a solid understanding of the general ledger.
- Experience with financial statements, supporting analysis, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask, meet established deadlines, and work independently.
- Must work in the office five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Homebuilding or construction accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or Sage Intacct is preferred.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP is preferred.
