Landfill Operator
Role Overview
This position provides essential manual labor and clerical support to the Landfill Department, ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and a safe environment.

Responsibilities
- Education • High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of training and work experience. Experience • 1-2 years experience in the construction/mining industry. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Must have sufficient level of education to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature relating to products and vehicles. • Must have excellent driving skills and the ability to maintain satisfactory customer and public relations in performance of duties. Other Requirements • Maintain daily reports as required by Company regulations. • May be required to operate forklift, bobcats, manlifts, water truck as needed. • Assist in maintenance and upkeep of working area, yard, plant and office. • Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company policies, procedures and requirements. • Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as, bend and lift up to 45 pounds. • The employee is outdoors and exposed to varying and/or extreme weather conditions (i.e., heat, wet, cold, etc) • Must be able to work required overtime and flexible work schedule.
- Hourly Range. The base hourly range for this role is between $23.00 - $30.00 per hour. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
