Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Laboratory Specialist based in Riyadh.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests accurately and in compliance with approved standards
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
- Analyse patient samples (blood, urine, and other body fluids) and report results
- Adhere to quality standards and patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with the medical team to support diagnosis and treatment
- Document test results and maintain accurate records
- Support and ensure compliance with local and international accreditation standards, including (CBAHI), (CAP) (AABB), and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory sciences or equivalent
- Valid professional classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
- experience or have completed their internship training in a governmental hospital.
- Good knowledge of infection control practices
- Familiarity with healthcare quality and accreditation standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team and handle work pressure
