Job Summary
The Lab Assistant supports the Quality Control team by testing raw materials, concrete, and finished interlock blocks to ensure they meet company quality standards.
The role is responsible for preparing samples, recording test results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and keeping the laboratory clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare material and product samples for testing.
- Perform routine quality tests on raw materials, fresh concrete, and finished interlock blocks.
- Record and maintain accurate test results and reports.
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and testing tools.
- Report any quality issues or non-conforming products to the QC Manager.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and inventory.
- Follow company quality procedures and health & safety requirements.
- Support quality inspections and other duties assigned by the QC Manager.
