Role Overview

We are hiring a Scientific & Laboratory Operations Specialist for a contractual position to oversee and execute laboratory workflows supporting product development.

This role involves ensuring compliance with scientific standards while managing operational processes in a fast-paced, remote environment.

The work directly impacts the reliability and scalability of experimental systems critical to innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute laboratory protocols to validate technical specifications for new products.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reproducible results.
  • Document experimental data, procedures, and outcomes in compliance with quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align laboratory operations with project timelines.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field such as chemistry, biology, or engineering with relevant laboratory experience.
  • Experience operating analytical instruments including spectrometers, chromatographs, or similar equipment.
  • Strong technical writing skills to produce clear and compliant laboratory reports.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, GMP, or GLP).
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and adapt procedures based on experimental findings.
